Thank you for hanging out

Let's get together again soon!

Pelvic Pain Awareness Month With OVY Relief

May is Pelvic Pain Awareness Month! Pelvic Pain Awareness is extremely important as many people struggle with pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction (some of these people don't even know they struggle with these). It is important to raise awareness so that people feel heard and therefore can get a diagnosis and treatment. No one should have to suffer from pelvic pain, yet many do, including myself.

I am very open about my pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction because I find it important to break the stigma around pelvic and menstrual pain. When we break the stigma, we make it easier for people to talk about pelvic and menstrual pain to their friends, family, doctors, etc. To help break the stigma, I have partnered with OVY Relief to present their suppositories and relief capsules as a supportive tool for pelvic pain.

So, what exactly is chronic pelvic pain?

It’s pain that sticks around in your lower belly or pelvic area for six months or more. For some, it shows up every day; for others, it comes and goes. It might feel like dull aching, sharp stabs, pressure, or even cramps that never really go away. And it’s not just “bad period pain", this kind of pain can show up during sex, while using the bathroom, or totally out of nowhere.

It is important to note that pelvic pain can affect anyone with a pelvis. It primarily happens to females.

Chronic pelvic pain isn’t a diagnosis in itself, it’s more like a red flag that something deeper is going on. That could be things like endometriosis, adenomyosis, IBS, interstitial cystitis, or pelvic floor dysfunction.

The tricky part? It’s often dismissed or brushed off, which can make it feel super isolating. But your pain is real and you deserve to be heard, supported, and offered real solutions.

Why Awareness Matters

Pelvic pain is often misunderstood, brushed off as “just bad cramps” or something you’re supposed to deal with. But chronic pain that affects your daily life isn’t normal and it shouldn’t be ignored.

There’s a lot of stigma and a lack of education around pelvic health, which leads to delayed diagnoses and people feeling unheard. That’s why awareness matters so much.

When we talk about pelvic pain, we break the silence, challenge the myths, and create space for others to feel seen. Advocacy and peer support can be incredibly powerful because no one should have to navigate this alone.

Introducing OVY: A New Way to Support Pelvic Wellness

OVY Relief is a product line that aims to provide natural pain relief for those with pelvic pain. There are two products in the line: CBD & CBG-Based Pelvic Relief Suppository and OVY Relief Daily Capsules.

The suppositories contain 50mg CBD isolate + 50mg CBG isolate which helps rebalance the endocannabinoid system and reduce pain and inflammation. They are made with pure isolates unlike other brands. These suppositories were designed with pelvic pain in mind and has a patent-pending formula. They are fast acting and long lasting. The suppositories is best when used at the on set of pain.

The daily capsules contain CBD isolate, CBG isolate, CBDA isolate, PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide). These ingredients are science-backed for pain relief, inflammation control, and endocannabinoid system balance.
These capsules present a multi-targeted formula. The CBD and CBG reduce pain and inflammation. CBDA is anti-inflammatory and has anti-nausea properties, it is especially beneficial for menstrual and gut-related symptoms. PEA is a natural fatty acid amide known to reduce chronic pelvic and nerve pain without psychoactive effects. The daily capsules are taken everyday.

The OVY Relief Suppository give immediate, local, acute relief while the OVY Daily Capsule gives daily, systemic, preventive support.

OVY Relief would be beneficial for those with pelvic pain, endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

How I Use OVY in My Routine

I take the OVY Relief Daily Capsules everyday when I take my other supplements. I use the OVY suppositories when I am having severe pelvic pain and/or tension, during my period, during an endo flare, and when I need to just relax. I like to pair the suppositories with my heating pad or after I take a hot bath. Sometimes I will put in a suppository and take a bath 30 minutes later and that is lovely.

The OVY suppositories give a grounding and soothing sensation.
