March's Book was WomanCode by Alisa Vitti. This book is amazing! I give this book a 5/5 star rating! Continue reading to see my in-depth review and thoughts on WomanCode.
This book actually altered the way I was approaching my endometriosis. I learned so many things from this book that I have started to apply to my everyday life. I listened to the audiobook version, but have added it to my list of books to add to my shelf.
As a fellow hormonal health coach, I am beyond impressed with Alisa's expertise. She inspires me to further my education.
Alisa knows so much about hormonal health conditions. Alisa, herself, was diagnosed with PCOS while attending John Hopkins University. Her doctor was less than helpful, telling her birth control was her only option. Alisa refused to believe this and began looking for alternative options. Alisa has written two books, WomanCode and Into The Flo (both are in our Mentsruators Book Club reading list)
WomanCode is specifically great for those suffering from a menstrual condition such as endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, PMS, etc. WomanCode goes over The Flo Protocol and The Cycle Syncing Method. Both of these are super helpful when it comes to bringing your hormones into balance. WomanCode will alter your life if you follow the protocol and method outlined in the book. Even if you do not plan to follow them, you can still implement aspects of them and see changes in your life and cycle.
If you were not able to read WomanCode this month, I encourage you to read it eventually! If you are following along with the Menstruators Book Club, our next book is Ask Me About My Uterus by Abby Norman. You can follow along on Fable if you have the app!
