Thank you for hanging out

Let's get together again soon!

I no longer support Thinx

If you haven’t heard already, Thinx (the period underwear brand I loved and in the past have recommended to quite a few people) just settle a lawsuit regarding PFAs in their products. Since PFAs aren’t illegal, the lawsuit was regarding Thinx’s blatant lies about being a safe and sustainable alternative to other menstrual products. Thinx is being accused of fraud and other deceptive practices. That all being said, Thinx has settled the lawsuit and has denied all allegations. They do, however, owe us all money.

There are many things you can do in regard to this lawsuit.

- If you can prove you bought Thinx in 2016-2022 you can claim up to 3 pairs and receive $7 for each pair

- If you cannot prove you bought Thinx, you can claim up to 3 pairs and receive $3.50 for each pair

- You can choose to get a 35% off voucher to use at Thinx (don’t do this one please)

- You can exclude yourself. You won’t receive any reimbursement. This is the only option you can choose if you would like to be able to sue Thinx in the future.

- You can object and write a letter as to why you think this decision is wrong.

- Or you can do absolutely nothing. You don’t get any reimbursement or a chance to later sue Thinx. You are bound by all terms of the settlement.

After reading this, you are probably wondering what PFAs are and if there are any period underwear brands that do not have them. Luckily for you, I have answers!

PFAs are a group of chemicals added to products to resist water, stains, and flames. PFAs are a forever chemical, meaning they are strong and stable, making them very hard to break down or decompose. PFAs have been found to be extremely dangerous to humans and the environment. PFAs may cause cancer, fertility issues, and other health issues.

There are many period underwear brands on the market. I have linked 4 different brands below. Many of them have discounts for first-time buyers. I have not tried any of these brands, but I will be trying them soon.
