Book Review: The Moon Cycle Cookbook

This week we are bringing a new review category to Wish This Would Endo, a book review. I personally love books, I find them to often be more informational and trustworthy than random internet searches.

This new category will include books that I have read regarding endometriosis, menstruation, moon cycles, food, etc. You can always find my favorite books and other resources under my new websites, books, zines, and more tab on the blog.

Today's book is The Moon Cycle Cookbook by Devon Loftus and Jenna Radomski. I got this book for Christmas and read it all in one day and have slowly been cooking my way through it.

Devon Loftus is the founder of Moon Cycle Bakery and Jenna Radomski is a holistic nutritionist and founder of Jenna Bee Basics. These two amazing women used their collective knowledge of menstrual cycles to create the Moon Cycle Cookbook.

This book is not only educational, but it is also beautifully put together. I love the way that each phase of the menstrual cycle is given its own section with an overview of what to expect at that phase, what to include and avoid in your diet, and a variety of recipes to eat during that phase. The book includes recipes that cater to nearly all dietary needs and stretch over every single meal of the day.

This book is perfect for those who are just starting to learn about their cycle and for those who already have a vast knowledge of their cycle. It is a great cookbook to add to your kitchen shelf. It is not just for those who have a menstrual cycle, so share these meals with your friends and family.

This book is actually on sale right now on Amazon, so head over there and get yourself a copy! It is also available on Kindle if that is more of your vibe.

Happy Menstruating and Happy Reading!
