I just love a company whose mission is to provide natural and science-backed period relief because they know that severe period pain is not normal. I love a company that goes viral on TikTok for using cramp simulators on actual cowboys. I love a company that creates customizable heating pads. I love a company that was founded by people who actually suffer from period pain. I love a company that is 100% compostable. 

This company is the one and only, somedays. 

I have not tried every product that somedays has to offer, but I have absolutely loved the ones I have tried. I currently use their better cycle kit and their cramp cream.

The better cycle kit includes belly jelly, belly band, and flaxseed heating pad (that is shaped like a pelvis!!!!!!!). I use this kit every day of the month, except for when I am on my period. This kit is designed to support liver function, hormone health, and improve symptoms. 

The belly jelly is made from castor jelly. Castor has been used for centuries to support the lymphatic system. Castor oil has been shown to break up scar tissue as well. 

After applying the belly jelly to your belly, you wrap it with the belly band. The belly band is made from. bamboo and is used to protect your clothes from the belly jelly while it absorbs. 

Then, you apply the heating pad to your belly for 45-60 minutes. The heat helps your body absorb the castor jelly and reduce inflammation while you relax. 

This kit is amazing. It helps me relax each day of my cycle. It helps to reduce my pain all month long, especially around my period.

When I am on my period, I do not use the better cycle kit. I instead use somedays' cramp cream. 

The cramp cream is made to last 3 hours and can be reapplied as needed. It has anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory qualities to it, that causes it to begin working immediately. 

I like to use the cramp cream with my heating pad for extra pain relief.
